The most recent New York Comic Con ended up being a showcase for upcoming video games, with many developers and publishers in attendance. BioWare happened to be one of these attendees and let slip a morsel of information that may interest fans of the company's sci-fi RPG Mass Effect for the Xbox 360 and PC.
While discussing an upcoming patch for the PC version of the game, BioWare community manager Jay Watamaniuk confirmed that a second DLC expansion pack for Mass Effect was still in development. Watamaniuk would not discuss anything further about the pack, so the release date and type of content that will be provided is still unknown. He did reveal that patch for the PC version of Mass Effect would be released in "a month or two."
For those unaware, Gamestop.com is offering the Mass Effect Two-Disc Edition, which includes the game's first DLC expansion, Bringing Down the Sky, along with a documentary, game trailers, music, and design galleries. Keep an eye open for more news on Mass Effect's second DLC pack in the coming months.
