The Mega Man spinoffs continue with the next game from the Mega Man Star Force series. Capcom has announced that Mega Man Star Force 3 will be coming to North America. In accordance with earlier releases from the series, Mega Man Star Force 3 will have multiple versions, Black Ace and Red Joker.

The physical and digital worlds of Mega Man Star Force 3 are being threatened by a gigantic meteor. This meteor is generating "Noise" that Mega Man can luckily control and use to change into different elemental forms. Black Ace and Red Joker each have over 100 unique Noise types to collect, which should add variety to the battles. Players will strive to change into the ultimate forms of Black Ace and Red Joker while defeating enemies and bosses to collect "battle cards" that enhance Mega Man's abilities.

Mega Man Star Force 3 will also support sharing of items and powers over the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Look for Mega Man Star Force 3 to be released in Summer 2009.
