Almost an entire year after its release in Japan, Atlus USA has finally confirmed that Persona 3: FES is coming to North America. After months of "not having plans at this time" to release FES in the USA, Atlus began placing ads on the internet and even created a countdown website here.

Scheduled for release on April 22, 2008, FES offers Episode Yourself and Episode Aegis. Episode Yourself is the initial game with new quests, events, Persona, costumes, synthesis, and an extra difficulty setting. Episode Aegis features Aegis as the main character along with a new ending to the game.

In Japan, FES was released as both an expansion that required the original Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 to run and as a complete package with Persona 3 included. Because Atlus USA is releasing the complete package in North America, RPGamers do not have to own the now hard-to-find Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 to play. FES will be available for a suggested retail price of $29.99 USD. RPGamer will have more details as they become available.
