Last night, a special press event was held to showcase the latest updates of the widely anticipated title Fable 2. While some of the information released during the event was already known, a few interesting bits of previously unknown information were brought to the surface.

For the first time ever, Fable 2 was confirmed to have multiplayer content. Though no specifics were mentioned, a new "Dynamic Co-Op Mode" was confirmed to exist. However, it was not said if this content would be utilized locally or via Xbox LIVE.

Additionally, it was announced that Carbonated Games has partnered with Lionhead Studios Ltd. to develop Xbox LIVE arcade mini-games in anticipation of Fable 2. These mini-games will allow the player to earn in-game currency for Fable 2 before the actual game is released; however, specific details concerning the precise nature of these games were not released.
