Sony has announced today that it will be releasing a special 8-year anniversary compilation for its MMO franchise, EverQuest. Called EverQuest: The Anniversary Edition, this set includes every expansion ever created for the game, including its most recent, EverQuest: The Buried Sea. The Anniversary Edition will be available at participating retail locations for the suggested retail price of $19.99 USD. "The Anniversary Edition is not only chock-full of content," said Clint Worley, Producer for EverQuest, "but priced to allow players both old and new to join in the online experience known as EverQuest."

As a special birthday gift to its players, starting March 16, EverQuest will be providing new in-game content including Luclin Fabled NPCs and a scavenger hunt for every player's level. "EverQuest continues to provide players with a massive amount of content, more than any other MMO in the market, and is still continuing to grow, eight years later," said Michael Lustenberger, Vice President of Marketing, Sony Online Entertainment.
