Konami's previous announcement about the release of Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles for the PlayStaion Portable has been followed by news that it will be made available to European gamers. The 1993 Castlevania: Rondo of Blood for the PC-Engine was never released in North America though an adapted version appeared on the Super Nintendo in the form of Castlevania: Dracula X. This will be the first time the game makes it to European shores.

The game consists of over ten stages of classic side-scrolling gameplay enhanced with 3-D graphics. As an added bonus, the original versions of Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night will be available as unlockable extras. The North American release is slated for the fourth quarter of 2007.
