Many consider Castlevania: Symphony of the Night to be among the best in the series, but considering the game's age, it can be hard to find. Microsoft plans to change that next month. It will be joining the lineup of Xbox Live Arcade games on February 10th.

As with other games on Live Arcade, there will be some enhancements. For example, there will be an option to play the game in a widescreen format in high definition, and like all games on Xbox 360, there will be a Gamerscore with accomplishments to complete. For those wishing to play Castlevania: Symphony of the Night as they remember it, there will also be a direct port of the original PlayStation version.

As of yet, there is no price set for the download, and at 96 MB, it will exceed the 50 MB limit for Live Arcade games. This means only owners with the HDD will be able to download and play it. Microsoft has not yet made any announcements regarding a smaller version that will allow Core users to download and play this game.
