After some claims, more counterclaims, and plenty of confusion about the earlier announcement of a European release of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, an official announcement in regards to a North American shipping is sure to please many who've been waiting for an English dubbed version of the film.

Also included as special features to the film are such items as deleted scenes, a story digest, footage of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children filmed at the Venice Film Festival, a featurette entitled "The Making of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children", and also a sneak peek of the games in the upcoming "Compilation of Final Fantasy VII" series.
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children will ship on April 25, 2006 in both DVD and UMD formats. The suggested retail price for the two-disc set is expected to be $26.95 for the DVD, and $28.95 for the UMD release. The film will be rated PG-13.
