After months of confirming nothing but a vague spring date, Square Enix and Buena Vista Games today announced a pinpointed ship date of March 28 for Kingdom Hearts II. Coming along with this announcement was a list of the game's voice actors and the roles that they will be playing:
Sora - Haley Joel Osment
Riku - David Gallagher
Kairi - Hayden Panettiere
Roxas (previously known as "Blonde Haired Kid") - Jesse McCartney
Namine - Brittany Snow
Diz - Christopher Lee
Cloud - Steve Burton
Tifa - Rachael Leigh Cook
Aerith - Mena Suvari
Yuna - Hedy Buress
Rikku - Tara Strong
Paine - Gwendoline Yeo
Mulan - Ming-Na
Hades - James Woods
Chicken Little - Zach Braff
Of the above list of announced voice actors, the only voice actor not reprising their role is Mena Suvari who has replaced Mandy Moore as Aerith. Other characters, who are not recurring but have been given voices through other games or movies, are all being voiced by their original actors, with the exception of Tifa who had not previously been given an English voice to her character.
