Those who have been waiting to hack and slash your way through Phantasy Star Universe this spring will have to make other plans. Sega of America changed the release date of its ambitious online game from Spring 2006 to Fall 2006. The release date was changed for both the PC and PS2 versions of the game.

Phantasy Star Universe had promised three planets to explore along with vehicles and new enemies, as well as a fully-fledged single player adventure. Sega of America has yet to give a reason for this change in release date.
