According to a reporter for the Columbia Chronicle, Dear Friends - Music from Final Fantasy conductor Arnie Roth has confirmed that there will be a Dear Friends concert in Los Angeles on May 16, coinciding with the beginning of E3. This has yet to receive official confirmation from Square Enix, however.

When contacted by RPGamer, representatives of the Walt Disney Concert Hall, where a Dear Friends concert was held during E3 in 2004, have denied that they have a Dear Friends concert scheduled.
