After foraging through the recent Musashiden II: Blademaster propaganda, more details concerning the story of the game have been revealed. The adventure begins when young Musashi, a bright and optimistic man, is suddenly summoned into another world. Musashi is summoned into this new world by Princess Misera, leader of the Mystic Clan. Misera is a proficient magic user and appears to be the heroine of the story. Felmie and Banon, Misera’s parents, are also introduced, but the role they play has not been determined yet.
“Mashuseki,” a strange mineral that grows throughout the world in which Musashi has found himself in, will play a focal point in the story. The mineral is said to give great powers to whoever possesses it. Princess Misera not only summoned Musashi to save her from danger, but also to help free the world from the domination of the Gandrake Corporation, who seeks to use the Mashuseki mineral to take over the world.
Aside from beating up bad guys, Musashi will be able to steal techniques from his opponents. Musashiden II: Blademaster is currently on track for a North American release in the Spring of 2005.
