Brave New World Awaits Final Fantasy XI Adventurers

Adventurers in the world of Vana'diel will soon be able to explore the mysterious "limbo" realm in Square Enix's MMORPG Final Fantasy XI. On February 24, powerful players will be able to explore the alternate reality known as Dynamis. In addition, new features, monsters, and quests will be added to the game.

Players will be able to participate in NPC "escort" quests or hunt new notorious monsters if they like. In addition, a new avatar quest and battle will be added, and existing avatar battles will have new rewards. There will be new synthesis recipes and special "relics" to discover as well. Other new features will allow players to re-experience earlier gameplay by repeating artifact quests and replaying event cut scenes in dungeons and burning circles. Square Enix is also tweaking the enemy strength for the Red Mage class in the level 70 cap battle, "Shattering Stars," and monsters caught by fishing will gradually become stronger if they are not immediately defeated. Certain kinds of Mog House furniture will enhance player status and storage, and players will be able to sort item lists alphabetically in the Auction House.
