It's been rumored for a while that Nintendo was planning something special to compete with the Xbox combos which are available in Europe. It looks like the magic solution will be a one-upping of the deal which has attracted so much hype in North America and Japan. In a press release today, Nintendo has announced that for a limited time it will be making available a combo-bundle with The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker for consumers in Europe.

The combo will be called The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker Limited Edition Pak and will commemorate the one year anniversary of the Gamecube in Europe. It will feature a Platinum Nintendo Gamecube and controller coupled with both The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and the bonus disc of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and The Legend of Zelda: The Master Quest, which has been available to consumers in North America with pre-orders. The entire pak will be available on May 3rd for around 199 Euros.
