Sega of America recently announced that it will be bringing the Xbox title Otogi: Myth of Demons to North America.

In Otogi, the player assumes the role of Raiko, an undead warrior who must single-handedly take down the armies of demons that are wreaking havoc all over ancient Japan. The story has been enriched with Japanese folklore and history, creating a unique experience for North American players who may be accustomed to traditional medieval European themes in role-playing.

As far as gameplay goes, players can master thirty different weapons and twelve types of magic, and they can also tinker with the unique items and weapon upgrade system. As an added twist, nearly everything in the game's twenty-something environments can be decimated by Raiko, which means that players can cut down trees or even level entire buildings.

Otogi: Myth of Demons was previously released in Japan, and it is scheduled arrive in North America this coming September.
