Namco announced two new characters, and a handful of cameos, for its upcoming Game Boy Advance title Tales of the World: Summoner's Lineage.
One of these new characters is Mark Ginihle, a wandering warrior who is searching for the adversaries of his family. Mark is formidable with his two sharp swords, but he tends to come off as effeminate. The other character is Xex, an artificial life form, like Macaroon, except that he was born of dark science at the hands of a demon researcher in the government science facility in Euclid.
In addition, Klarth Lester from the original Tales of Phantasia has been added to the cast. Since Fulein, the main character of Summoner's Lineage, is his descendant, time travel may factor into the game's story. Arche, Cless, and Mint are also due to make an appearance in the game.
Tales of the World: Summoner's Lineage will be out in Japan sometime this spring, but there has been no word of a North American release to date.
