Shigeru Miyamoto, the man behind almost every successful Nintendo game franchise, has stated he is hard at work on new installments of multiple Nintendo franchises, including the ever-popular Legend of Zelda. Miyamoto, who is also developing new Mario and Pikmin games, said he believes he will be finished with development on all three games by the end of the year. Realistically, when this means we might see a new Zelda game is anyone's guess, given the series' penchant for regular delays.
Mr. Miyamoto is a chief developer at Nintendo, and the creator of such classic series games as Donkey Kong, Super Mario Bros., Kid Icarus, and of course, The Legend of Zelda. He was honored by the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences with their first prestigous Hall of Fame Award.
