Hori Plans FFX-2 Merchandising Blitz

Hori, a Japanese company specializing in unique gaming accessories, has planned a slew of special merchandise to commemorate the release of Final Fantasy X-2. Chief among these is a special set of controllers called Yuna's Tiny Bee. The controller consists of two guns, made to look like Yuna's guns from the game. The left gun functions as the left side of a standard controller, while the right gun functions as the right side of a standard controller. The controller will retail for 12,800 yen, or just over $100 American.

Hori also plans to release a Final Fantasy X-2 stand for the Play Station 2, as well as three different Final Fantasy X-2 memory cards. The chance of this merchandise making it to North America is slim to none, so those absolutely desperate for more Final Fantasy X-2 swag will most likely be forced to go the import route. Final Fantasy X-2 will be released in Japan on March 13.
