3DO has announced that production on Might and Magic IX has come to an end. The game, which was developed by New World Computing, will be hitting stores across the continent on March 28th.

Fans of the series can expect some spiced-up visuals--an aspect that the game has been lacking of late--courtesy of the LithTech 3D engine. M&MIX also features a beefed-up character development system and both real-time and action-oriented battle systems.
