Online retailer Gamestop.com has revealed on its site the existence of an upcoming Game Boy Advance port of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance. The game, which has already been released for the PlayStation 2, and is currently under development for the XBox, will make its appearance on Nintendo's portable system courtesy of Destination Software, which has picked up both publishing and development duties for the title.
BG: DA takes players into the Sunset mountains on a quest to save the hero's sister. In the midst of this quest, however, a war threatens to break out, and the hero becomes embroiled in a flurry of alliances, betrayals, and combat that will test his mettle to the extreme. According to Gamestop, the title is tentatively set for release on October 15, 2002. Thanks go out to Daniel Calderman for the tip.
