Kingdom Hearts' universe of intermingled Square and Disney properties will include Neverland, home to the iconic Peter Pan of Disney fame. Other marquee characters such as Captain Hook and Tinker Bell will also appear, most likely marking this as the first time the ever-youthful Pan and his hook-handed nemesis will do battle RPG style. It is also known that Sora and other characters--perhaps with a sprinkling of pixie dust--can fly along with Pan during the scenario.

Additionally, it is now known that other Disney characters, including Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Belle, Winnie the Pooh, Tiger, Ariel and Sebastion will also make appearences. To recap, the known cast of Square characters appearing so far includes Squall, Selphie, Cid Highwind, Yuffie, Tidus, Wakka and Mog.

Kingdom Hearts is set for a March 28 release in Japan on a PlayStation 2 DVD-ROM. The game will retail for 6800 yen, or approximately $51.00 US. A North American publication is expected by the fall of 2002.
