Atlus has finally revealed details about its next major Megaten title, Shin Megami Tensei Nine. The game is part of a long-running series that is best known for its deep battle system and complex plot involving negotiations with gods and demons. Players will have the option of playing the game online with other players or offline by themselves.

While the game is labeled Shin Megami Tensei Nine, it is not actually the ninth entry in the series; the title refers to the nine attributes that play a large role in the game's story, such as chaos, light and darkness. These elements will influence plot, battle system and character actions.
