Final Fantasy IX wins Golden Satellite Award
Final Fantasy IX

Final Fantasy IX won Best Interactive Product/Videogame in the New Media Category at the 6th Annual Golden Satellite Awards. The awards ceremony was held in Century City on Saturday, January 19th. This is the first time a Square product has been nominated for a Golden Satellite Award.

Final Fantasy IX was released internationally in 2000-2001 and has since sold over 4 million copies. The game has been given awards in Japan, as well. It is the last Final Fantasy to appear on the PlayStation. RPGamer would like to congratulate Square for receiving this accolade.
