Kingdom Hearts Goes Pop
Kingdom Hearts

In keeping with the recent trend, Square has confirmed that the main theme for its upcoming Disney collaboration Kingdom Hearts will be sung by white-hot popstar Hikaru Utada. The singer, who was raised in the US and Japan, will be performing English and Japanese versions of the song, titled "Hikari," for the respective territories.

Those in the audience eager to give the song a listen--or those who just have to have everything with Square's name on it--can look forward to the single, which is being released in Japan on the 20th of March for 1,100 ¥. The game itself will hit shelves a mere eight days later.
