The Baldur's Gate series has had a stellar run over the past few years. The series started off on the PC, where it received much acclaim, and it was recently brought to the PS2 in the form of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance. The PS2 version, which was developed by Stormblind Studios, was more of an action-oriented affair and was well received over this past holiday season.
Gamespot is reporting that BG:DA may see a port to either of the remaining current generation home consoles, a move that Interplay has refused to confirm. There has been no mention of the console, but Gamespot's sources speculate that either the GameCube or Xbox could get in on the AD&D action. Additionally, Nintendo Power, Nintendo's official North American magazine, mentions that the game will be headed to the GBA in North America. We'll have more info on this story as the respective companies step forward with some solid details.
