In good news for on-the-go RPGamers, a version of the RPG Evolution is on its way to the Neo•Geo Pocket handheld system. Not just a port of the Dreamcast game, Evolution Pocket will feature the characters from the original game in a brand new adventure. Over the course of the game, Mag and his companions will explore five sprawling dungeons and encounter numerous enemies and bosses.

Evolution Pocket will take advantage of the Neo•Geo Pocket's graphics capabilities in providing a colorful adventure with a similar style to that of the original Evolution. The game will be released to eager Japanese gamers later this month, and a domestic release of Evolution Pocket seems likely. Expect more information on this exciting "little" RPG as it breaks.
