Enix delays Dragon Quest 7 Again

There seems to be a plethora of delays in the gaming world, and now a familiar player steps up to the plate to swing back dates. Enix is so displeased with the quality of it's new game, developed by Heartbeat, that they're pushing back the date for Dragon Quest 7: Warriors of Eden yet again. When did they set the new date to? They didn't. This delay is seeming to have a profound effect on Enix's profit margin so far this year. It's statistics indicate they've revamped their earnings forecast 72% lower than originally estimated. However, it's really just a matter of time before they make up this loss, since DQ7 is a long awaited game and people are anxious to buy the game when it comes out.

A floating date of May seems to be dancing around, but until the game meets their standards, it won't be released in Japan. This racks up the delays on this game to more than a year. Unfortunately, this means that if this game is ever released in North America it will be some time yet until we see it on our shores.
