Dreamcast Release Date

    Sega of Germany has announced a worldwide release date of September 9, 1999 (9/9/99) for the Dreamcast at the Nuernburger Toy Show. This means both the European and American versions will be released the same day. Sega has also been in talks with several European ISPs to provide online service (yes, that's right) for European Dreamcasts.

    In other news, Sega announced that Shen Mue will be released this year. Sega also announced that 15 titles will be available at launch time, though they didn't specify which ones. Maybe the Cinnabon has a fighting chance this time, if Sega can keep the price of the system down (it currently retails for about $300 in Japan)
