Bringing a more cinematic feel, Nobuo Uematsu returns to the Final Fantasy legacy in the 8th installment. Including remixes of previous Final Fantasy songs in every track of Final Fantasy VIII's original sound version, such as Final Fantasy VII's "The Forested Temple" within "The Castle" and Final Fantasy VI's "Kefka" within "Fithos Lusec Wecos Vinosec", Nobuo brings an intresting twist to the soundtrack. Faye Fong Wong, Asian popstar, joins Nobuo to sing in two tracks including "Eyes on Me" and the Ending Theme.
