"There is no rest in music...only silence."
Knights of Gold Part 1
PrometheusX Seiken Densetsu III
Author's Notes

The scene for this piece is the march-out from the town. As the townsfolk line the streets, the nobles parade past on their horses singing of valor and glory. Then comes the real army, the peasants with few weapons, less armor and no glory at all. Quick to kill, quick to die; they sing of fear, of despair, of grim determination. The counterpoint is the women's voices who would gladly go too but instead must wait in anxious terror of the sergeant with the weary eyes and a folded flag under his arm. The sources for it are: Grasslands Forcena, Castle City Jad, the ending theme, desperate times (don't know real name), return of mana (also not real name).

I know it's been a while. I'm sorry for the one-week delay. However, the delay worked as we have a remix! In fact, the second part to Prometheus X's remix is still in the inbox, itching to be released. There is some high quality work by Prometheus on a game that hasn't seen too much in the ways of remixing. The game being one of my favorites, these mixes are a must-download.

For those of you that missed the announcement of the Final Round of The Grand Audition, be sure to check it out. I am really excited to see what our four finalists can come up with. Furthermore, for those who are worried about the "fairness" of the final round, I've decided to grant the following points: first prize winners of any of the previous rounds will receive 3 points per prize. Second place winners will receive 1 point. These points will be applied to their overall score, and while it may not sound as though these are the most generous gifts, in a round with as many judges as the Final Round has, you can bet that these points could make or break the game.

Stay tuned for a special update next week to keep us on the biweekly schedule. Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate, and a very safe Black Friday.
