-------- Frequently Asked Questions



---- What is the best party to take?



My favorite is a Male Human, Female Human, Male Mutant, and a Monster.

Equally effective is a group made up of 2 Humans and 2 Mutants or 3 Humans

and a Mutant.



Don't have more than 2 monsters in your group, because your lack of strong

weapons and magics will hinder your progress later in the game.  Likewise,

don't have more than 2 Mutants, because they tend to have rather low HP

levels.



---- How do you put the stuff back on the Statue of Hero?



While right next to the statue, face it, then open your item menu.  Select

each of the King items, and you should receive the Black Sphere after

putting on the third item.



---- Well, I did a stupid thing and I sold the King Shield to a vendor.

Now what do I do?



If in any case you lose any necessary special items, you can go back to

the exact location in which you found it and get another one.



---- How do you get the Airseed?



Near the far east side of the Water world there is a small island where

lives Ryu-O.  He gives you a clue as to the whereabouts of the Airseed.

Go south from the island until you hit another, larger one.  There is a

ring of palm trees surrounding a single one.  Face the single one and

press A.  The Airseed is yours.



---- Which orb in Sei-Ryu's castle is the right one?



A crab-like thing in the Undersea Town tells you to look where the two

lines cross.  In the chamber filled with orbs, find where the lines you

found in the first two chambers would lie.  The crossing point is the true

orb.  In case you're still stumped, its the third from the top and third

from the right.  Face it when you press A, otherwise you'll get a nasty

surprise.



---- What does Ryu-O want me to get?



Here's his items:

-- 4 Potions @50GP = 200 GP

-- 3 Gold Helms @ 175GP = 525 GP

-- 2 Long Swords @ 132GP = 264 GP



The total is 989 GP, the exact cost of the Battle Sword.  Buy one and

equip it onto the lead character.  After you have both orbs, use one and

you'll get the Blue Sphere



---- Why can't I kill Su-Zaku?



He's got a force field right now, so go through the subways to avoid him.

Run if he gets you.



---- Where is the ROM?



From the town of Ameyoko in the northeast, go two spaces left and nine

spaces down.  You'll enter a secret area, known as Ariba.  One of the

rooms holds the ROM.



---- Where is the Board?



In the town of Ameyoko, go to the nook where the House of Life person is.

There's a space in the back of his shop.  Go through, then head right, and

up a couple of spaces.  You'll see a person behind a small table.  He'll

give you the Board if you have the ROM



-------- Tips, Tricks, and Other Cool Stuff



-- The item Arcane recovers all the uses for your weapons, items, magics,

and the like.  Keep plenty around with you near the end of the game.



-- Because you can, raise your humans up to insane levels early in the

game.  I like to have full 99 Strength and Agility by the time I've

defeated Byak-ko.  Also, make sure you've reached 200 HP after defeating

Gen-Bu, 400 after defeating Byak-ko, and 600 after defeating Su-Zaku, or

you'll be sorry.



-- If you have a lot of time on your hands, and a lot of money to blow,

you can raise your humans HP to 999 by buying HP200's from the shop in the

Town of Hero for 100 HP a pop.  Each one will give you one HP added to

your max.



-- If one of your characters is killed, and it's not the Hero, and it's

not a character you've spent countless hours building up, you can go to

the Guild to get a new character.



-- Small money cheat: Keep getting a Female Mutant from the guild in the

Port Town on L5.  Deequip her Saber, then kill her off and get another.

Each Saber you get can be sold for around 1000 GP.



-- Press Down, B, and Select for a sound test
