Tricks
Difficulty (1-10): 5 Before you enter this battle, your levels should be very high and you should have some pretty potent weapons (i.e. Ragnaroks, Excaliburs and Chaos Blades) and if you use magic users, they should be learned in several types of magic and have Math Skill. If not, reset your Playstation and level up until your party is lethal. An optimal party would be: Orlandu, Ramza, Beowulf and a Knight, all with 2 Chaos Blades and +3 Move, and a master Summoner/Priest/Wizard/Time Mage/Oracle/Calculator as a Summoner with Math Skill. I know it sounds like a lot of work, and you can definately get by without it, but that's just what I like to use. :) Your levels should be 50 or above to get by without much trouble. The tactic for this battle would be to get the Monks and Archer with 2 of your physical attackers, and the 2 Knights up high with Orlandu, and use the rest of your forces to weaken all of the enemies collectively (reason for Calculator.)
