Only one word can describe this battle.. HARD. Try to have a level around 30. If you don't, you will be massacred. Velius has several attacks which hit for 250+ damage. Also beware of the Archaic Demons, who use Giga Flare (lose 70 HP, 2 range) and Dark Holy (150+ damage to one target) I reccomend using a Summoner to cast Lich. It's the only way I can beat him. Lich does 700 damage to Velius, making it invaluable. Use Agrias (Holy Explosion) and Ramza (remember how I said to use Accumulate a lot in the previous battle? It sticks with him. He should be hitting 400 or so damage by himself if you did it enough.) So several attacks from Ramza and a Lich just to play it safe, plus some attacks by Agrias, and Velius should kick the bucket. Ignore the Archaic Demons, just be SURE to protect your Summoner from them. They make short work of mages. Try not to lose anyone at all, you'll need them still.. |
