The thing I hate most about this battle is having 2 guests, who generally do stupid stuff. When it asks you what your primary objective is, say "Saving Algus," because this makes Delita act more intelligent by defending Algus. To win the battle, kill all the enemies without Algus getting killed. You might want to make one of your people a knight before this battle. Knights have much higher HP, which is always a good thing.
