Prinnies!

Disgaea 2 is a title much in anticipation among certain strategy RPG fans. These fans will be happy to know that the playable demo at E3 bears a very strong resemblance to its predecessor. I got to play through a couple of tutorial levels and explore the base town a bit; even in the few story scenes presented, the trademark Disgaea humor was present. Veterans will note that many of the same character sprite types are reused, and that many of the same attitudes and functions are still present (eg, the hospital still wishes you well in getting hurt much).

More Prinnies!

Prinnies make a return and throwing them will naturally result in a nice explosion. Also briefly shown was the item world, but it is unknown how similar or different this will be. Items also still come with jobs attached (eg, dietician and such). While just a short look at this title, it looks like a solid continuation of the Disgaea series.
